#128 How do you find the Mad Harlequin
|
March 14,2006
It was a enlightening thing to read the origional way the Grimm's Fairy tales were
origionaly written. The writing is a cross between the King James version of the Bible
and Shakespeare. A lot of 'thees' and 'thous'. And while reading it, it feels like
it reads like a proclamation. If one were to read it out loud. And some parts I have to
go online and figure out what they are saying from words I never heard of before. I don't
know if people talked like that all the time then, but they were certainly literate. They
certainly talk and wrote better than us it seems. It makes me wonder where we will be 100
years from now in our writing and speech. Perhaps there is the need for Grammar Nazis a little.
Because I know I have problems with my grammar.
A movie a sorely want to see, is
'Stay Alive'. That movie caught my full attention when I saw the previews for it. There
has been a sudden surge of horror movies. Seems to be the decade of the return of horror
genre to the main screen.
