#89 The real landlord in these parts

Get your WhoGirl stuff here. September 27,2005 ABOUT TODAY'S UPDATE- There will be no update today. Why? I came down with a case of writer's block. I tried to draw out today's page in order to get it done in time. But then I knew the update would be pretty much, bleh, if I forced it out. And I also realized that if I did not execute the next few pages right, it would end up being a unessecary run on scene. Sorry for the lack of update, but I will have one up for friday. September 23,2005 I was struck with a thought. Is settling for someone a bad thing? Settling of course is caused by deciding to take someone because they were there, after many failed courtships of girls/guys that we would prefer to have. But I imagine a lot of people settle. Does this make a relationship a lie? Does it make it a wrong relationship? Even if the person settling treats the other person as he/she should? Someone told me once that it is like a toy. You wanted one particular one badly, and got another that you liked. You create a special place for that toy you wanted, while the other when you put it away, you put it in the box. But, is settling bad, if it seems like you aren't going to ever get the one that you really want. Is it fair to the person you are settling on? At the beginning I imagine it would be ok, but what about the long run? Even if the person treats the settled one good. But is the relationship a lie, if the heart isn't all there?
